Hi, some of my team members are required to post to user-defined books for their entries, rather than the standard accrual books. Is there any way to formulate the writeback function to post to a specific book?
Thanks, Aaron

Yes. The JOURNAL parameter can be any journal ID (including user-defined).

Hi,
I just tested it myself and was able to make it work (please ignore the earlier reply where I was getting an error - I was connected to the wrong company from Excel!)
And from Velixo:

Thanks Harry. Is that going to work for books that are not listed under Journal Entries? The books I am referring to do not show up when going into Journal Entries only under User-defined.

The second parameter of the Velixo SI.WRITEBACKJOURNAL function is the name of the Journal to which the data is to be sent:
Within Intacct, each Journal is associated with a specific Book:
By specifying the desired Journal, you would also be specifying the Book associated with the Journal.
