I have used velixo with sage before and it was very easy to get statistical data into my excel reports.

I am now using Business central and cant find a way to access the "ststistical accounts".

Not sure if anyone can help.

Hi David

Unlike Sage Intacct, Statistical Accounts are not stored in the main G/L Account object, but in a seperate object (Statistical Account) and their transactions in another object (Statistical Account Ledger Entries), so the standard BC.EXPANDACCOUNTRANGE and our Financial balance functions such as BC.TURNOVER do not return them.

However this data can be queried using the BC.QUERYTABLE function, or by using Query Builder (Insert > Query) which lets you select these objects and their columns.

Here's an example querying Statistical Account and returning 2 FlowFields: "Net Change" and "Balance". Note the use of "Date Filter" to return your Statistical Accounts amounts in a time-sensitive way.

And here is another example where I return only the balance of one specific Statistical Account (typically what you'd insert in your Financial report).

Hope this helps!
